  • In short, it’s up to you. Every person — and every story — moves at its own pace. Therapy can be short-term, long-term, or somewhere in between. Some people feel relief after a handful of sessions, while others choose ongoing support as they move towards deeper change.

    We’ll check in regularly to make sure you’re getting what you need and heading in the direction you want.

  • Most clients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions to build momentum and feel supported. Over time, we can adjust the schedule to fit your needs, goals, and comfort level. There’s no pressure — just a pace that feels right for you.

    Therapy is collaborative, but you’re always in the driver’s seat. You decide what feels safe, relevant, and useful. There is no interrogation, no pressure, and no expectation to share anything before you’re ready. I will always trust your instincts about what matters most.

I draw from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, CBT, ACT, Polyvagal Theory and other evidence-based approaches — always tailoring our work to what you need.   • I provide secure, confidential online therapy for clients across Ontario, including Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa, and more.

    Online therapy is flexible, evidence-based, effective, and often more comfortable for clients — many people open up more easily from home.

  • Most extended health plans in Ontario cover psychotherapy with a Registered Psychotherapist. Coverage varies by provider, so it’s always a good idea to check your specific benefits for psychotherapy or counselling services.

  • A strong therapeutic relationship is essential. If after a few sessions you feel we’re not the right fit, I’ll fully support you in finding someone who is. You deserve to feel safe, understood, and comfortable with your therapist.
