You and the challenges you face are unique, so a one-size-fits-all approach will only take you so far.
I am trained and experienced in many forms of evidence-based, and client-centred therapy, such as Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (more on these below). I’ve also worked in many different settings - from medical offices, and single-session walk-in clinics, to community counselling agencies, and post-secondary institutions - all of which has equipped me to be flexible and work in a way that is tailored to you.
More importantly, I am committed to compassionate and collaborative care. My goal each session is for you to feel heard, supported, and empowered to take meaningful steps that are in line with your own hopes and values.
A well-known therapist once said,
“People aren’t helped by advice. If advice worked, no one would ever need a counsellor.”
I’m not here to hand out fixes or tell you what to do — you’ve likely already heard more advice than you know what to do with. And if it worked, you probably wouldn’t be reading this.
Instead, I’m here to team up with you to figure out where you want to go, what’s in the way, and how to move forward in a way that works for you.
And I can’t wait to get started.
My Go-To Models
I take an integrative approach to therapy, and draw on number of different therapeutic modalities in my work. Here’s some info on my go-to models to give you a sense of what to expect in session.

This is my homebase and the approach I am most passionate about.
Narrative therapy is about exploring and “re-authoring” the stories you tell and have been told about your life — the ones that have shaped how you see yourself and the world around you. Together, we’ll look at how certain experiences, relationships, and cultural messages may have influenced you, and then start to uncover other, often-overlooked chapters — the ones of strength, courage, and possibility. It’s about loosening the grip of problem-saturated stories so new ones can emerge.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate and empowering form of therapy that helps you understand the different “parts” or aspects of yourself that make up your inner world —such as the inner critic, the caretaker, the protector, etc. etc. In IFS, we work together to get to know these parts without judgment, understanding what they need and how they try to help.

Sometimes, it helps to shift the conversation from what’s wrong to what’s possible. Solution-focused therapy does just that — it highlights your strengths, successes, and the times when the problem hasn’t had as much power over you. Together, we’ll build on what’s already working and find small, meaningful steps toward the changes you want to see.

Our thoughts can shape how we feel and what we do — sometimes without us even noticing. CBT helps you spot unhelpful patterns of thinking and replace them with ones that are more accurate and supportive. It’s practical, straightforward, and focused on helping you make changes in the here and now, so you can feel more in control and less at the mercy of your mind.

When life feels overwhelming, it’s not just “in your head” — your body plays a big role too. Polyvagal theory helps us understand how the nervous system responds to stress, safety, and connection. By tuning into those signals and learning ways to regulate them, you can feel more grounded, connected, and capable of meeting life’s challenges with steadier footing.

Life comes with pain — but it doesn’t have to define you. ACT helps you make room for difficult thoughts and emotions, instead of fighting them or pushing them away. At the same time, it focuses on what truly matters to you — your values — and how to take meaningful steps in that direction. It’s about living a fuller, richer life, even when things are hard.
